Designated Training Providers are organizations or institutions that have successfully completed SkilledTradesBC's Designation Review Process.
Application for Designation and the Designation Review Process provide a quality assurance mechanism to ensure that training providers meet SkilledTradesBC's program standards for training facilities, instructor qualifications, course curriculum, assessment processes, trade competencies and general operations.
SkilledTradesBC designation is trade, level, and location-specific.

Additional Information
Designation must be renewed after five years from the date of issue.
SkilledTradesBC shares the outcomes from the Designation Review Process with the Private Training Institution Branch (PTIB). Non-public training providers operating in B.C. may need to comply with all PTIB regulations in order to apply for SkilledTradesBC Designation. Please consult PTIB to see if this applies to your institution.
