Are you a certified, skilled, experienced tradesperson with a passion for your work? Your trade knowledge and expertise are needed!
Help us develop and revise trades programs and exams by participating in workshops or webinars that range from a few hours to five full days. Options for virtual and in-person workshops are also available. Your participation will bring the right knowledge at the right time to ensure that trades programs and exams are keeping pace with today's industry needs.
Participants will also have the opportunity to work with other certified tradespeople in their trade.

Frequently Asked Questions
We're interested in individuals with the following experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a certified journeyperson with a Red Seal or Certificate of Qualification
- Currently working on the tools or in a supervisor role
- Currently working for an organization that sponsors SkilledTradesBC apprentices.
Your years of experience and knowledge is valuable to us. By participating in our workshops or webinars, you can help us understand the current and future needs of industry, and help shape the way exams, training and programs are developed in BC.
The workshops or webinars can be in-person or online and range from as little as a few hours to five full days.
Once you have emailed programstandards [at] skilledtradesbc.ca with your name, trade, phone number and email, we will keep your contact information on file.
When there's an upcoming workshop/webinar for your trade, someone from our Program Standards team will reach out to you with the details to see if you are available.
