Skilled Trades Certification, also known as compulsory trades, is now in effect for 7 electrical and mechanical trades. If you are an uncertified worker or employer with uncertified workers in these trades, you will need to meet the requirements. Skilled Trades Certification (compulsory trades) is now in effect, requiring tradespeople working in 7 electrical and mechanical trades to be registered apprentices or certified journeypersons.
