Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG)
The Apprenticeship Incentive Grant (AIG) is a taxable cash grant worth $1,000 per level up to a maximum of $2,000 for the first two years of your training in a Red Seal program.

Apprentices registered in a Red Seal program who have successfully met the technical training and work-based training requirements for each grant. Please see the AIG requirements document for your trade. Apprentices must complete technical training to be eligible, as per Service Canada. Level challengers are ineligible for this grant. |

Apprenticeship Incentive Grant for Women (AIG-W)
Applications close on March 31, 2023
The Apprenticeship Incentive Grant for Women (AIG-W) is a taxable cash grant worth $3,000 per level to registered apprentices in a designated Red Seal trades where women are under-represented. You can apply for this grant twice up to a maximum of $6,000 during your training.

Apprenticeship Completion Grant (ACG)
The Apprenticeship Completion Grant (ACG) is a taxable grant of $2,000 for registered apprentices who have successfully completed their apprenticeship training program and have received their journeyperson certification in a Red Seal trade

Grants for Apprentices in Non-Red Seal Programs
