Challenge Pathway

The Challenge Pathway for Shipyard Labourer provides skilled workers with an alternative to the traditional route to certification. In addition to submitting an application, the pathway involves a SkilledTradesBC-registered assessor assessing the performance of the Challenger who must meet the Occupational Performance Standards set by industry. The Challenger receives an Occupational Certificate after demonstrating sufficient evidence of competency against these standards.

Note: there is a $400 assessment fee which is payable to CCC following approval of your application.
